Ann Franke
Ann Franke was introduced to the lettering arts 25 years ago while studying graphic design in college. She has since studied with many national and international calligraphers, but credits Sally Sanders of Prescott, Arizona as her most influential teacher. She produces work for retail and commission, teaches local calligraphy classes and runs an artists’ coop/gallery with 10 other artists.
Nature is a predominate theme in the work created from her home studio in the foothills of Missoula, Montana where she lives with her family.
